This film is Cord Jefferson’s directorial debut. He wrote nine episodes of “Watchman” and twenty-five episodes of “The Good Place” so it was not a shock that this script was very well written and glorious in every way.

The Zone of Interest Movie Review
In case you didn’t know, the term for the film’s title came from the area surrounding Auschwitz. The Germans labeled the 15 square miles that bordered the concentration camp the Zone of Interest. It’s the perimeter or boundary between the security monitoring setup and the external network.

The Oath Movie Review
“The Oath” will bring back memories of “Gladiator,” which isn’t a bad thing since the second Gladiator is on its way. It’s just not as well produced as a Ridley Scott film.
Nightmare on 34th Street Movie Review
Available on Video on Demand (December 5, 2023)
“Nightmare on 34th Street” is a Horror movie, but also a horror of a movie. A sick and twisted Santa runs amuck and shares some ghoulish stories of Christmas-themed mayhem. Thanksgiving Movie Review
“Thanksgiving” is not related to the happy holiday that you might have heard about. No, this one is a spin-off from a 2007 ‘double-feature’ named “Grindhouse”. It started life in there as a ‘fake trailer’ for a fake slasher/horror movie. But for the third time, a “Grindhouse” trailer has become a real movie. Read more
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes Movie Review
“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” is a movie that announces its Grandness in sheer number of words. The latest in the “Hunger Games Extended Universe” is actually a prequel to the prior set of movies. Set more than sixty years before the “The Hunger Games”, it is a chance to see the beginnings of one character in particular. No, not Katniss Everdeen… Read more
