Blinded by the Light is an incredibly inspirational film. It’s the story of a Pakistani teenager named Javed (Viveik Kalra) who’s going through a tremendous identity crisis. In a unique fashion, his story shows us that the most important thing in life is to discover who we are. Growing beyond childhood regularly takes being forced into it when we’re not ready. That nudge ofttimes comes from the most unlikely of places. It certainly does in Javed’s case. Read more

The Kitchen Movie Review

​This is an entertaining film! The writer and director of ‘The Kitchen’ is Andrea Berloff, who also wrote ‘Straight Outta Compton’ and ‘Sleepless.’ With this, she set out to pen a script for three female actors who could sink their teeth into the juicy roles that are usually given to their male counterparts. It’s meant to be a bit provocative, as well, but not so much so that it takes over the riveting nature of a reasonably well-made action/drama to include a distracting, ill-fitting romance of some sort. The story of a professional race driver, and the loves of his life, is told through the eyes of his trusted canine companion (named Enzo).
