“See How They Run” immediately piqued my interest. A 50’s whodunit murder mystery in the old classic style of Agatha Christie? What could go wrong outside of a character you love getting bumped off?

The Woman King Movie Review *A Must-See
In case you weren’t aware, “The Woman King” is inspired by a true story. In the 1800s there were warrior women called the Agojie who protected the kingdom and, most significantly, the king of Dahomey Africa.
I’ll get this out of the way for you… this movie is an absolute must-see! I’m predicting right now that you’ll hear a lot about it during award season.

“McEnroe” is a documentary about tennis star John McEnroe, the brash and hot-tempered player who ruled the courts – and the headlines. Gigi & Nate Movie Review
“Gigi & Nate” starts with a not-so-surprising accident that leaves its protagonist in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. No spoilers here. You get this information from the trailer. After we see a cute little capuchin monkey (played by Allie) being saved from an unsafe environment, writer David Hudgins shows us a well-mannered, happy Nate, spending the fourth of July with his family. With an extraordinary life thus far and a bright future ahead, Nate has the time of his life.
Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. Movie Review
First, let me get this off my chest. Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown are outstanding in this movie! The rest of the cast hold their own, as well, but I can’t say enough about these two. Writer/Director Adamma Ebo creates a farce around their characters who are in the middle of a sex scandal. With the behavior of the pastor and his wife in this movie, we see the hypocrisy of big churches (southern Baptist types) and their preachers, who do not practice what they preach.

Three Thousand Years of Longing Movie Review
“Three Thousand Years of Longing” is a visually freaky fun film that frolics in fantastical fantasy. (Say that five times real fast!) When an educated Professor meets up with a mythical creature from ancient days (the Djinn), a fairy-tale of adventure, discovery and love take hold of the screen. From Director George Miller (“Mad Max”, “Babe’, “Mad Max: Fury Road”, and many others) – there was only one final line I wanted for this movie — and that is… Read more
