HBO is premiering White House Plumbers starring Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux.

18 1/2 is the award-winning historical fiction thriller/comedy released last summer theatrically in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Watergate burglary. The film is currently airing on Starz, as a companion to their award-winning Watergate limited series, Gaslit starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn.

18½ is about a young woman in the Nixon White House who leaks the infamous 18½-minute gap in the Watergate tapes to a reporter, but they run afoul of hippies, swingers and nefarious forces. Though fictional, 18½ has references to many of the same historical characters and events as are found in both White House Plumbers and Gaslit. This year also saw the release of Netflix’s Oscar-nominated short film about Watergate, The Martha Mitchell Effect.

18½ was a critical and commercial indie hit: An award-winning film at 25 festivals on 4 continents, the film went on to earn “Certified Fresh” status on Rotten Tomatoes during its 7-month, 60+ city theatrical release. In addition to Starz, it’s currently playing on JetBlue, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand and Singapore Air and is running on Sky Cinema in the UK.
