After watching this masterpiece in all its glory, I wondered why it would be released on Christmas day. Contrasting takes on what makes you jolly, I guess. If so, that makes sense because this is the opposite of cheerful. That said, it’s magnificent.

Thirty-six years and… Showtime!! The opening credit sequence for this is familiar, like an old friend welcoming you back… it even focuses on the bridge!! The model is used again, and the town looks pretty much the same.
