PHOENIX FILM FESTIVAL WELCOMES ARIZONA PREMIERE OF “OUR HERO, BALTHAZAR”

The Phoenix Film Festival is thrilled to announce the Arizona premiere of the highly anticipated Picturehouse release “OUR HERO, BALTHAZAR,” starring Jaeden Martell (“It”) and Asa Butterfield (Netflix’s “Sex Education”).

Adding to the excitement, star Jaeden Martell and writer-director-producer Oscar Boyson will appear in person for special screenings on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:40pm, and Wednesday, April 15 at 7:05pm, offering audiences a rare opportunity to hear directly from the creative forces behind this bold new film.

In “OUR HERO, BALTHAZAR,” a privileged New York teenager, desperate to impress his politically passionate crush, follows an online connection deep into Texas—convinced he can prevent an impending act of extremist violence. What unfolds is a gripping, timely story about idealism, identity, and the dangerous collision between online rhetoric and real-world consequences.

The film marks a striking feature from Oscar Boyson, who writes, directs, and produces the project. Boyson’s producing credits include acclaimed films such as Noah Baumbach’s “Frances Ha” and “Mistress America,” as well as the Safdie Brothers’ electrifying “Good Time” and “Uncut Gems.”

Jaeden Martell not only stars in the film but also serves as a producer, further cementing his reputation as one of the most compelling young talents working today.
