BLEECKER STREET “MONTANA STORY” TO CLOSE 2022 PHOENIX FILM FESTIVAL

PHOENIX (Monday, March 21, 2022) – The Phoenix Film Festival has announced its closing night film with Bleecker Street’s “MONTANA STORY” that will be showcased on Sunday, April 10th at Harkins Scottsdale 101. “MONTANA STORY” premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, and stars Phoenix native Haley Lu Richardson.

 

“MONTANA STORY” star Haley Lu Richardson (“The Edge of Seventeen.” “Split”), Owen Teague, (“Stephen King’s It”, “Black Mirror”), Gilbert Owuor (“Mute,”), Kimberly Guerreo (“Longmire”), and Eugene Brave Rock (“Wonder Woman”).  Directed by Scott McGehee and David Siegel (“What Maise Knew”).

 

 

MONTANA STORY tells the story of two estranged siblings return home to the sprawling ranch they once knew and loved, only to confront a deep and bitter family legacy. The fates of their ailing, unscrupulous father and a beloved old horse hang in the balance.

 

 

“MONTANA STORY” will be released in theaters on Friday, May 13th.

The 22nd Annual Phoenix Film Festival will run from Thursday, March 31 – Sunday, April 10 at Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theatre.
