Christopher Nolan’s films, including Dunkirk, Interstellar, Inception and The Dark Knight, have earned over $5 billion at the global box office. They’ve also received 11 Oscars, but they’ve never received Best Picture. “Oppenheimer” won’t get the director this award either, in my opinion.
The first thing that will jump out at you is the Warner Brothers logo. It’s a beautiful Barbie signature pink. And their mocking of “2001: A Space Odyssey” worked soundly. You’re ready for this adventure to begin the second you see it.

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” is the not ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie you expected. It is the star-studded, stunt-driven spectacle that this summer needed. Some of the other big summer ‘tent pole’ movies are gone in a ‘Flash’, or will never reach their ‘Destiny’. This summer could be saved by a swirl of fights, chases, and intrigue that keeps the focus on the action. And to think, this is only ‘Part One’…
